The Faculty of Adult Education was established in 2000 and now it has an enrollment of 1100 students in three years. It is its running-school policy to implement the Party's strategy for promoting prosperity of the country through education，to conduct adult education and guarantee the quality of talent cultivation in the form of degree education and technical training through sufficient utilization of educational resources of BIPT and extensive exploration of running school channels. The guiding idea of the adult education is to cultivate students into ones with overall quality and solid fundamental knowledge by teaching them in accordance with their aptitude，guiding them according to circumstances, and emphasizing strict management and the combination of theory and practice. The Faculty of Adult Education advocates gumption, collaboration, discipline and diligence in order to cultivate for the modernization of China engineering technical and economic administrative talents who should be provided with an overall development in morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics, and with extensive learning on a firm foundation, brilliant ability, high quality and innovatory idea.
