专业简介
英语专业简介 2000年，随着北京石油化工学院外语部（2003年更名为外语系）的诞生，英语专业教研室成立了，并于同年招收了第一届英语专业（商贸方向）本科生，共计32人。截止到2005年，英语专业的正式专职教师人数由专业创办之初的3人发展到了10人；学生238人。目前在校生168人，其中2002级47人，2003级43人，2004级38人，2005级40人。本专业于2004年、2005年分别向社会输送了两届共计70个合格毕业生。就业率与签约率达到较高水平。04届毕业生就业率为98%, 05届为97.3%,学生的素质及专业水平受到学校及社会的一致好评。
THE DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES
With its establishment in 2000, Foreign Languages Department enrolled 32 students majoring in Business English. After nearly six years’ development, the department has grown from a team of 3 full-time teachers to that of 10 teachers with an enrollment of 238 students. At present, we have 168 English majors at school including 47 seniors, 43 juniors, 38 sophomores and 40 freshmen. Till now, 70 students have successfully graduated at a remarkable employment rate of 98% in 2004 and 97.3% in 2005. Both the school and the society have highly spoken of our graduates for their wonderful quality and good achievement.
